It’s happening! My first ever equine photography workshop!
This workshop will be a full day of hands-on learning with the day starting with a general overview camera settings and equipment before we start working with a variety of models in different situations.

Models of different ages with their horse – children, teens, and mature adults

Communicating with models
Using different available light throughout the day
The workshop will be limited to 10 participants and will be held at a beautiful facility in the Des Moines area. The day will start at 10 AM and will go through sunset (8:30 PM).
The workshop fee is $250 to participate in the class and photograph the models.
If you wish to audit the class (observe only) you may do so for a fee $150.
A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to hold your spot with the remaining balance due one week prior to the workshop.
The optional editing party will be held at a location in Des Moines. Here we will work on images from the workshop together in Lightroom and Photoshop and I will be available for any post-processing questions and assistance. Full details will be released at a later time.
Some smaller details….
Participates will be required to bring their own gear.
Participants will be able to use any images they capture in their portfolio and on social media.
In case of poor weather, we will work through it and utilize more indoor options as needed.
Sandwiches, snacks, and drinks will be available throughout the day. Any special dietary needs will need to be covered by the participants.
Any travel and lodging is the responsibility of the participants.
